Serving Paraguay strives to transform the lives of children with the love of Christ and change the future of a nation. Founded in 2010, Serving Paraguay is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the children of Paraguay who are victims of abuse, neglect, and poverty.

To that end, Serving Paraguay operates a Christ-centered children’s home on 40 acres in Itaugua, Paraguay, about 20 miles outside of the capital city of Asunción. Our children’s home, Hogar El Camino, is unique in that we utilize a family structure to restore and develop the children entrusted to our care.  When children arrive in our homes, they are placed in the care of a family, with a loving Christian mother and father.  Thus, the atmosphere at Hogar El Camino is much more that of a community than an institution.

In conjunction with Hogar El Camino, we also operate the New Path Christian School.  Our school serves not only the children from Hogar El Camino, but also more than 270 children from our surrounding, impoverished community.  We offer quality education taught by caring, Christian teachers.

As a way to encourage responsibility and dedication, Serving Paraguay founded the Serving Paraguay Track and Field Team in 2012.  Many of the children from Hogar El Camino and the New Path School are now training in various track and field events, building their self-esteem and learning the importance of exercise and commitment.

Our aim is that the children of Hogar El Camino and the New Path Christian School become committed Christians that take responsibility for their lives, their community, and their country, passionately serving others and impacting the world around them.
